The dark and twisted history of a Tooting man who kidnapped and raped a 13-year-old girl has been revealed by the people who knew him in an exclusive interview with My London.

Kaidan Nelson pled guilty in April to the kidnap and rape of a young girl on her way to school in Mitcham.

My London spoke to people who knew Nelson during his teenage years which has seemingly revealed a very dark history.

Their identity has been hidden for their protection.

One interviewee told My London that Kaidan would touch them inappropriately as a minor.

They said: "He's the Devil himself, he just had a darkness in his eyes, he was just weird.

"The guy used to just make me feel really uncomfortable all the time, to the point where I'd be scared to be around him.

"I honestly believe that if no-one had helped that little girl [who he raped] she would've been found dead on Tooting Common. She would've been left somewhere.

"He was just a very intimidating guy, very intimidating, very sly and everyone would be too scared to say no to him."

Kadian Nelson, 27, was caught on camera walking with the 13-year-old after he'd committed the vile act.

The video quickly went viral and anger online led to vigilantes hunting for Kaidan's address.

South West London police urged residents to not take the law into their own hands.

Kaidan was reportedly assaulted in prison just hours after he pled guilty to the charges.

Another interviewee told My London: "I remember that he was always with different people, and would always be talking weird Devil Illuminati stuff.

"He used to talk about the freemasonry stuff, and would go on about blood and handshakes."

Kaidan Nelson is due to be sentenced in August.
