A protest in response to Immigration Enforcement officers targeting Tooting delivery drivers is taking place this Sunday (30 May).
This comes after police and Immigration officers arrested two drivers during a stop and search operation.
The protest is being organised by Wandsworth Stand Up To Racism.
It hopes to help 'stop racist policing'.
A spokesperson said: "We are expecting reps from the IWGB union to come along - so if you are a delivery worker yourself it'll be a good chance to get some advice, and become a member.
"They have been organising delivery workers in East London over the last couple of years, with some success."
The protest and rally will be taking place on Bickley Street at 12.30pm.
Dr Rosena Allin-Khan, Tooting MP, tweeted that the operation looked like 'racial profiling' and that it may be 'indirect discrimination due to its disproportionate impact on ethnic minority groups'.
A Home Office spokesperson turned down the claims that they unfairly targeted the delivery drivers, telling The Evening Standard: "It is completely false to claim that any immigration activity is conducted under false pretenses. All operational activity is intelligence-led.
"The operation in Tooting was conducted in relation to suspected immigration offences and two individuals were arrested on suspicion of immigration offences.
"The Government continues to tackle illegal migration in all its forms and our New Plan for Immigration will speed up the removal of those who have entered the UK illegally."
