Project begins to bring 'state-of-the-art health centre' and nearly 200 homes to Garratt Lane

A stretch of Garratt Lane is set to be revitalised with 200 new homes and a new GP.

Occurring in Earslfield, the project is now underway, using land occupied by vacant council buildings and some ageing and redundant shop units.

Two new chicken shops set to open within a stone's throw of each other

Two new chicken shops are coming to Tooting, both of which are just nine numbers down from each other.

Chicken City and Chesters Chicken will be opening in the place of Meza and US Junction Menswear.

Schedule for Marc Bolan plaque unveiling announced, featuring a very special guest

The clock is ticking down to when a commemorative plaque for Marc Bolan will be unveiled in Summerstown.

The event's schedule has now been released - and it will feature a performance from Andy Ellison, who was once in the same group as Bolan in John's Children.
