A Tooting pub that previously said it would not be opening on April 12 has announced they will in fact be welcoming visitors.

The Kings Head previously told Nub News they were waiting until May to reopen the pub as opening outside wouldn't be 'feasible'.

In a statement released yesterday, the pub said: "Our garden will be open from April 12th, so come and join us for some much-needed pub time.

"We are accepting bookings online, but will also have availability for walk-ins.

"We are glad to be opening our doors for you again. See you soon!"

Situated at 84 Upper Tooting Road, The King's Head is a popular pub for locals.
