A Tooting pub has said they will not be opening their beer gardens on April 12th as it won't be viable to serve customers outside.

The King's Head, situated at 84 Upper Tooting Road, has told Nub News they will be waiting until the next stage of the road map to reopen.

A spokesperson for Kings Head told Nub News: "We are very much looking forward to the opening, however, it seems like we will wait until May 17th, as opening outside won't be feasible."

The pub is hoping to hold a fun Summer full of sporting events, including the Euros and Olympics.

The new four-step plan set out by the Government could see all legal limits on social contact lifted by 21 June.

May 17th will see indoor hospitality and entertainment venues such as cinemas and soft play areas be able to open.

The Tooting pub recently raised £650 for Macmillan Cancer Support through an organised raffle.
