A woman has released a warning following her run-in with a 'suspicious male' close to Furzedown Surgery.

In a social media post yesterday evening (5th April), the woman described her and her girlfriend being followed on Eardley Road.

"He got very close so we turn around to see if he was following he stopped but started following again when we started walking again," she said.

"So we turned around and walked to the main road.

"But we felt very threatened as two young ladies as he looked as though he was on drugs.

"He was hanging around and acting suspicious and we didn't feel safe."

The man has been described as a white male in his late 40s with a short slim build and wearing an oversized green coat with a hood.

She added: "Just be aware, he kept putting his hand in his pockets and we felt he was planning on mugging us."
