Tooting: Local foodbank needs your donations to cover shortages

By Tommy Joyce 9th Jul 2021

A local food bank has asked for donations due to it being short on specific items.

Earlsfield Foodbank, a charity that serves people from both SW17 and SW18, is asking people to donate tinned fish, tinned pulses and pasta sauces due to being short from previous sessions.

The food bank is based at St. Andrew's Church in Earlsfield and is taking donations at the side entrance of the church tomorrow (July 7) between 2pm and 5pm.

A statement from Earlsfield Foodbank said: "We're really short of tinned fish, tinned pulses (chickpeas, kidney beans etc) and pasta sauces.

"Please can you help? Any donations are gratefully received."

You can find out more about the charity by going to its Twitter or Facebook page.
