A German kitchen in Tooting Market has moved into a bigger location after having success in its previous home.

Die Bude (translating to Little Shed) has now moved to Unit 5a within Tooting Market and has extended its menu.

The kitchen offers authentic and competitively priced German food, specialising in hot dogs.

With its recent move, Die Bude has now extended its menu to include Schnitzels, Currywursts, with Germans beers, wines and spirits still to come.

Owner Liam said: "So we've opened up a bigger unit within Tooting Market after having a successful stint in a smaller unit.

"The bigger unit allows us to offer a lot more than just German hotdogs now. We've expanded our range to include Schnitzels, Currywurst and more.

"We have halal and vegan options too and a selection of German beers, draft, spirits and wine to follow shortly.

"All of our produce is sourced directly from Germany (our sausages and sauces) and all traceable. We utilise the great local fresh produce available to us for some of our dishes too."

About Die Bude

Liam, who is a Tooting resident, told Tooting Nub News about the business in an article in April, shortly after it opened in February.

He fell in love with Germany after visiitng on a school exchange and has visited countless times since.

He said: "It's got everything. Good food, good beer, and good people.

"I think it's completely underrated as a country.

"I had been looking for a little spot for a while, so when this popped up I had to grab it.

"I knew COVID was going to be a challenge but I don't think we can let that stop us from following our dreams.

"Whenever you're working with food you want to be proud of what you're selling.

"No disrespect to some other places, but if you're just frying frozen stuff and selling it, you can't be putting the care and love into your dishes."
