Temporary waiting restrictions on Mitcham Road in force for the next 18 months

Wandsworth Council have announced temporary waiting restrictions and parking suspensions on Mitcham Road in Tooting.

The restrictions have been put in place to facilitate the safe movement of traffic.

It came into effect on February 25 and will be in place for the next 18 months.

None of the orders will apply to any public service or utility vehicle, anything done with permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer or, finally, any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

The council has warned that any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed may be removed.
