Tooting and Mitcham Football Club has helped the vaccine programme by using its stadium as a vaccine centre.

For this coming weekend, NHS Merton will be using the site to offer jabs to anyone over the age of 21 a vaccine, with first and second doses available for those who want them.

Anyone will be able to walk into the stadium and get the vaccine as the government tries to accelerate the jab to combat the concerns of the Delta variant, first identified in India.

The football club has joined other clubs across London in helping the government reach its target of hitting 100,000 Covid-19 vaccines a day. Chelsea, Spurs, West Ham and Charlton will all be hosting similar walk-in clinics.

On Saturday and Sunday (June 19 and 20), the centre will be open from 9am to 8pm for those to get their jabs.

KNK Stadium address: Bishopsford Road, Morden, SM4 6BF.
