Today is set to be a gorgeous day with little chance of rain. It will also be rather warm for this time of year, with highs of 17 degrees expected, even if there is a moderate breeze.

BBC Weather says: "This afternoon will be largely dry and fine at first. Banks of cloud will move in gradually from the west through the afternoon."

Traffic and travel

Traffic is running smoothly across Tooting, as per AA's traffic news .

However, in Balham there has been an accident involving a cyclist which has closed a road both ways.

The A24 is current closed between B242 Bedford Hill and Chestnut Grove.

It says: "Road closed and delays due to Emergency Services incident on A24 Balham High Road both ways between B242 Bedford Hill and Chestnut Grove (Balham Station). Congestion to Bedford Hill, and south on Balham High Road."

The Northern line is running without delays.
