Local police have been patrolling a woodlands area due to reports of a male exposing himself.

Earlsfield, Wandsworth Common and Nightingale police teams have been around the woodlands area of Wandsworth Common and Lyford Road in SW18 over a report of a man exposing himself in the early hours of Sunday morning (October 3).

Earlsfield Police have asked residents to be aware when in the area and to report any incidents using 101.

The local policing team tweeted about the incident with a picture of a plain-clothed officer searching the area.

A spokesperson for Earlsfield Police said (October 3): "Earlsfield SNT along with Wandsworth Common SNT and Nightinggale SNT have been patrolling the woodlands area of Wandsworth Common and Lyford Road SW18 in the early hours of the morning due to reports of an undesirable male exposing himself.

"We ask residents to be aware and report any incidents."
