Tooting: Where you can walk in and get your vaccination locally

Anyone over the age of 18 is now able to get their Covid-19 vaccine.

With the government stepping up its vaccine rollout to try and combat the concerns of the Delta variant, there are now centres where people can simply walk in and get their vaccine.

Similarly, people can also book their vaccines online.

If you're eligible to be seen at a clinic then there's no need to book an appointment, you'll just need to take proof of age – driving license or passport – or, if you're a frontline health or social care worker, your employment ID.

While there are none directly in Tooting, there are some others in the local area, as you can read below:

Centre Court Shopping Centre, Wimbledon

This is purely an Oxford AstraZeneca clinic and will be open from 8am to 7.45pm, Monday to Sunday (June 21 - June 27).

Who can come:

- If you had your first dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine at least 8 weeks ago come along for your second dose – even if you have a second dose booked in the coming weeks, you can come to our walk-ins at 8 weeks

- Those over the age of 40 and have not yet had their first vaccine

Merton Civic Centre

This is a Pfizer only clinic and is only open today (Monday, June 21) from 4pm to 8pm.

Who can come:

- Anyone aged 18 and over, who lives or works in Merton

- If you had your first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at least 8 weeks ago come along for your second dose – even if you have a second dose booked in the coming weeks, you can come to our walk ins at 8 weeks

Fairfield Halls, Croydon

This is a Pfizer only clinic.

Opening times are as follows:

2pm to 5pm, Tuesday 22 June

9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm, Wednesday 23 June

2pm to 5pm, Thursday 24 June

9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm, Friday 25 June

2pm to 5pm, Saturday 26 June

Who can come:

- Anyone aged 18 and over who has not yet had their first dose

- If you had your first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at least 8 weeks ago come along for your second dose – even if you have a second dose booked in the coming weeks, you can come to our walk-ins at 8 weeks

Kingston Mosque

This is a Pfizer and Oxford AstraZeneca clinic, only open from 10.30am to 6pm on Friday (June 25).

Who can come:

- For Pfizer: Anyone aged 18 an over who has not had their first dose

- For Oxford AstraZeneca: Those over 40 who have not had their first vaccine or those who have had Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine at least 8 weeks ago but not had their second dose.
