Police appeal after cash stolen from church

Police have released a picture of a man who is believed to have stolen a cash box from a church.

Wandsworth Police tweeted a picture on Saturday (June 19), asking anyone who recognises the man to come forward and contact them.

They tweeted: "Suspect is believed to have entered a church in Wandsworth and removed a cash box from within.

"He is described as a white male, 5'8", bearded, wearing a dark anorak, jeans, approximately 35-40 years old"
