Tooting: New cycling and walking strategy needs your feedback

By Tommy Joyce

10th Aug 2021 | Local News

A new cycling and walking strategy is set to be unveiled by Wandsworth Council - but it wants your opinions first.

The new strategy is going to be encouraging more people to take up active travel options.

The answers to a number of questions will support the data which has already been collected by the council, Transport for London and the Department for Transport about how Wandsworth constituents travel on a daily basis.

This information will provide information as to how and why they travel in the ways they do. People are encouraged to participate whether they cycle or not.

Wandsworth Council wants as much feedback as it can get so that it can prioritise different programmes and initiatives that are relevant to peoples' needs. This will support the Wandsworth Environmental Strategy, including improving local air quality and encouraging more cycling and walking.

To have your say, follow the link to the walking and cycling survey.
