Mobile theatre to perform on these Tooting estates for free in next few weeks

A mobile theatre will be performing for free on a number of Tooting housing estates over the next week weeks.

Wagon of Dreams from Jellyfish Theatre is about three friends and their pets. The performance is aimed at those aged three and older, will last 55 minutes and is designed to be relaxed and accessible.

The performance will be going until August 20 around Wandsworth borough, with a few performances showing within Tooting.

It will also be covid-19 safe.

Tooting performances

  • Thursday August 12, 1pm and 3.30pm - Aboyne Estate, Strathdon Drive
  • Saturday August 14, 4.30pm - Newlands Estate, Franciscan Rd
  • Friday August 20, 1pm + 3.30pm -Copeland St, behind Copeland House

Other performances

  • Friday August 13, 1pm and 3pm - Alton Estate, Downshire Field
  • Saturday August 14, 1pm - Streatham Park Estate, Grierson House
  • Tuesday August 17, 1pm and 3.30pm - Doddington + Rollo, Garden Square
  • Wednesday August 18, 1pm and 3.30pm -Falcon Rd Estate, Fownes St
  • Thursday August 19, 11am - York Rd Estate, Meyrick Rd

What is the performance?

Three friends live happily together in a colourful wagon, along with their hilarious, quirky pets. Free as birds, they travel around making friends in all the new places they visit. Until one day, they realise that something is missing from their lives and set out on a quest to catch a dream.
