A local music group has planned a Tooting Common 'sing-around' in June.

Tooting Folk, a local music group that usually hold events at Gorringe Park pub, has organised an outdoor event for the summer.

The aim of the event is for residents to come along and enjoy, or participate, in some group music making.

A spokesperson for Tooting Folk said: "Assuming the weather is good and with rules on outdoor gatherings being loosened, on 5th June we are going to attempt to do a singaround in Tooting Common!

"Bring a picnic, bring some drinks and bring something to sit on if you can."
