A Tooting restaurant and bar is celebrating its 4-year-anniversary while it remains closed due to COVID.

The Tapas Room, situated in Tooting Broadway Market, serves a variety of Spanish wine alongside tapas, charcuterie, cheese, and deli menus.

The Tapas Room was first launched to 'spread a culture of learning more about Spanish wine' and to allow residents to drink quality wines for less.

Paul Belcher, the owner of The Tapas Room, told Nub News:

"It's a funny feeling having our first Tapas Room turn four after the year we've had and the fact is still closed until mid-May as the market is classed as indoor hospitality.

"Having said that we can't wait for it to open again and for Broadway Market to be the lovely vibrant place it is, we may now have five Tapas Room but Tooting will always have a very special place in our company."
