A Tooting pub has thanked residents for their support since they reopened for outside bookings last month.

The Ramble Inn, situated on Mitcham Road, says they have missed the 'sense of community' that's built when their customers are in the pub.

Installation of a new outside non-smoking area and four extra heaters has reportedly 'gone down very well' with visitors.

The well-known pub recently celebrated its 22nd birthday and is looking forward to welcoming customers back inside on May 17th.

Jimmy, landlord of The Ramble Inn, told Nub News:

"Even though we've got customers in the garden, it's strange seeing an empty pub.

"Really looking forward to things getting back to normal especially when we can get our quiz nights back and having the sport on the televisions.

"It will be great to once again provide all our customers with the great service and comfort they are used to here."
