Tooting Tram and Social confirms it will be reopening in November

Tooting Tram and Social will be opening up again next month, the bar has confirmed.

The venue recently told us that they will be opening again soon - and now people can start clearing their diaries, as they have confirmed that the first weekend of November will be when it reopens.

Tooting Tram and Social, situated at 46-48 on Mitcham Street, has been closed all summer and did not follow many other pubs and bars in opening up following lockdown.

However, in November Tooting punters will have their feet back on the dance floor again, which is bound to be music to the ears of those who like to stay out past the usual pub shutting times on a weekend.

A spokesperson for the venue says they cannot confirm which date just yet, but they will be doing so soon.

As we reported previously, Tooting Tram and Social will be looking a bit different when its doors open - the place has had a refurb and there will be a new decor.

They had told us that they were hoping for an October relaunch party, but we will have to wait until next month for the grand opening.

The bar has also now announced that it will be opening again on Twitter, saying: "RE-OPENING NOVEMBER 2021.

"Watch out for more info."
