A newly-wedded couple from Tooting are attempting a cycle from London to Tokyo to raise money for charity.

Matt and Coco Morley have swapped their cosy flat for a tent while they attempt this gruelling challenge.

All of their stuff - apart from nine bags they've managed to take with them - is in storage. So far they've gotten through 13 countries but there are many more to go.

It should be a cloudy day in Tooting, but the rains should hopefully stay off. There won't be much sun, apart from maybe the early morning, with a maximum temperature of 16 degrees.

BBC Weather says: "Today, it will start dry with a few bright spells. It will tend to cloud over as the day draws on, with the occasional spot of light rain or drizzle becoming possible during the afternoon."

Traffic and travel

Traffic is looking a bit slow in Tooting this morning, as per the AA's traffic news .

On Tooting Bec Road there are telecoms works going on, meaning there are temporary traffic signals. This is causing the road to far slower than usual.

The AA says: "Temporary traffic signals due to telecoms work on A214 Tooting Bec Road near The Rose and Crown pub"

The Northern line is running without delays.

What's on in Tooting today
