Tooting Tram and Social aims for October relaunch party after brand new refurb

One of Tooting's most popular venues is hoping to be opening its doors later this month.

Tooting Tram and Social, located at 46-48 Mitcham Street, has been closed all summer and did not return like many others following lockdown.

However, Tooting Nub News can confirm that it is well on its way to opening its doors again - and it's even hoped that they can have a relaunch party at some point this October.

A spokesperson for Antic Pubs - the business that runs Tooting Tram and Social - told us that the venue is in the process of having a refurb and a new decor.

Tooting Tram and Social is a bar that regularly hosts musicians and DJs, so this is likely to be a welcomed return to those who fancy staying out a bit later than the usual pub shutting times on a Friday and Saturday night.

The tucked-away bar is also known to host a banging karaoke night, so if that sounds like your flavour it might be time to start your vocal warm-ups.

Look out on our website for more updates about Tooting Tram and Social opening up again.
