A woman has spoken out for reportedly being sexually harassed by a man in Tooting Common yesterday afternoon (23rd November).
This comes following a claimed sexual assault in the common last week.
The woman, who will remain anonymous in this article, claims a man approached her while sitting on a bench and began to speak inappropriately to her.
Speaking to Nub News, the woman said:
"I remained polite throughout but it quickly became a worrying situation.
"He started saying some really disgusting things about what he wanted to do to me.
"I could tell he was getting closer to me as he spoke.
"If I hadn't of left as fast as I did then I am sure he would have gone to grab me.
"I'm just so thankful there were other people around."
The man has been described as having dark hair and eyes, slightly tanned skin and fluent in english with a slight accent.
He was reportedly 'jumpy' in his manner and constantly looking around.
The woman has warned others to stay vigilant and not go into the common after dark.
