There will be a slight easing of some lockdown restrictions from Monday (March 29).

Changes from Monday will include the resumption of weddings with a maximum of six attendees.

There is now a limit of 24 attendees for funerals.

Some organised outdoor sports will resume, including organised football, rugby and tennis.

Courts and pitches must be pre-booked.

Casual play will not be allowed. There will be no access to changing rooms and spectators are not permitted.

The Tooting Bec Lido will also be reopening for swimmers, with strict social distancing rules in place.

There will be some activities at youth centres. Contact your local centre for details.

Government guidelines allow outdoor gatherings (including in private gardens) of either six people (the Rule of 6) or two households.

The 'stay at home' rule will end on Monday but many restrictions will remain in place.

People should continue to work from home where they can and minimise the number of journeys they make where possible, avoiding travel at the busiest times and routes.

Travel abroad will continue to be prohibited, other than for a small number of permitted reasons. Holidays abroad will not be allowed.

You can see full details on the government website.
