Two suspected drug dealers arrested in Tooting as 'large amount' of cannabis is seized

Tooting police have detailed the arrest of two drug dealers and 'large' seizing of cannabis on social media.

PC Watford of Tooting Ward Police completed a twenty one hour shift to arrest the two suspected drug dealers.

A spokesperson said: "A large amount of cannabis, cash and further evidence was seized after searching the males and both their homes."

The two males have now been released under investigation.

PC Watford detailed his work on social media, saying: "Currently 4.5 hrs overtime one more s18 to complete, then booking in property found/ MG11's/ reports/ interviews/ case files.

"That has ruined my first rest day.

"Thankfully I have a very understanding family to support me."

Residents have been responding to the work on Twitter.

One resident said: "Excellent but a very long shift."

Another resident said: "Wow. Well done though in all that you retrieved. Shame they've been released already. At least the operation has been disrupted for now."

The police have recently been attempting to return two stolen bike wheels to its owner.
