Nothing too special with the weather today. You can expect a mixture of sunny spells and rain showers. There's still some warmth about, with highs of 16 degrees expected and only lows of 11.

BBC Weather says: "This morning, it will be a wet start with further heavy showers for a time. Turning drier in the afternoon with sunny spells developing. However, there will be the odd lingering shower. Breezy."

Traffic and travel

Nothing special about the roads or traffic this morning, as per the AA's traffic news .

In fact, compared to last week the roads look to be running a lot smoother, especially around the petrol stations.

That's not to say you will just be able to fly through, there is still slow traffic all around Tooting, just not as severe as last week.

The Northern line is running without delays.
