Tooting: Video shows Mittens the cat being brought to safety as road temporarily closes

A cat in Tooting can be seen being brought to safety by the fire brigade.
Mittens, a cat who lives on Drakefield Road was stuck on the roof and needed some assistance to get down to ground level.
According to Hannah Stanislaus, a labour councillor for the Bedford ward, two members from Tooting Fire Brigade arrived at 8am and were able to get Mittens down by 9.20am.
The road was temporarily closed as the cat was brought to safety.
Speaking to Nub News , Councillor Stanislaus said: "Mittens was stuck on the roof of his house. Not sure it got up there.
"The family called the fire brigade at 8am, and by 9.20am Mittens was safe.
"The road was temporarily shut as Danny and James used the crane.
"It's a big relief as two little girls got their cat back."
