A French restaurant in Tooting is concerned about their potential loss of income following enforced earlier curfews from the government.
Bordelaise, situated in Broadway Market, has been running late night dining for four years.
Bordelaise co-owner, Aleix Morales, believes the earlier curfew of 10pm means that 30% of their overall income could be lost.
All restaurants, bars and pubs will need to close by 10pm from Thursday (24th) onwards.
This comes after the UK's coronavirus alert level moved to '4' which means transmission is now "high or rising exponentially".
"We are going to have to adapt just like we have been doing every month," Aleix told Nub News.
"We will now miss a whole table of customers every evening - and those later bookings are our biggest money maker.
"We may stay open later on Sundays or open on a Monday when we are usually closed, we are constantly trying to find solutions."
Like many other restaurants, Bordelaise has been consistently swapping their approach to how they cater for diners and keep up to date with coronavirus rules.
A newly opened Italian restaurant in Tooting is also concerned about the changes.
