Tooting: Police appeal as 15-year-old boy known to frequent area goes missing

An appeal has been released by the police after a 15-year-old has gone missing.

Do you recognise the boy in the photo? If so, the police would like to speak to you.

According to the police, Zach Washington went missing on August 14 and enquiries are still ongoing to locate him.

Washington is from Manchester originally, however, police believe he frequents the Wandsworth area.

Wandsworth Police have tweeted appealing for information, so if you recognise him, please contact 999 with reference to 21MIS024807.

A tweet read : "Zach, age 15 is missing.

"We're increasingly concerned for his safety.

"Zach has long braided hair and is 4ft 8."

A Met Police spokeswoman confirmed that Zach was still missing and that police are still looking for information.

She said: "Zach Washington went missing on 14/08. He was last seen by staff after leaving his placement in Manchester.

"Police believe he frequents the Wandsworth area. He is still currently missing and enquiries are still ongoing to locate him."
