Tooting motorbike racer signs deal to race in British Superbike Championship

A Tooting motorbike racer has signed a huge deal to race in the British Superbike Championship 2021.

Gino Rea, 31, will be joining Danny Kent to ride for Buildbase Suzuki on their GSX-R1000R superbikes.

Gino Daniel Rea previously joined the Buildbase Suzuki team as a substitute rider to replace an injured rider in the 2020 season.

Gino told Suzuki: "I'm really excited to be staying with Buildbase Suzuki for 2021.

"After joining them last year and seeing the progress we made, which resulted in leading my first BSB race with them, it's the perfect scenario to continue together and build on our hard work from last season.

"I'm looking forward to getting my head down and working hard to build on our results from 2020 and give the team the results they deserve."

Gino almost finished in his first podium position when he replaced the injured rider in the 2020 BSB race at Dorington Park.
