BBC Weather says: "Today will be largely cloudy, with some light spots of rain or drizzle moving in from the northwest later in the afternoon. However, breaks in the cloud may yield some occasional brightness."

Traffic and travel

The roads are mostly running as usual this morning, as per the AA's traffic news. There is currently slow traffic on the A24 Colliers Wood High Street to Mitcham Road (near Tooting Broadway Station), so be wary of that.

The AA says: "Slow traffic on A24 Colliers Wood High Street Northbound from A238 Merton High Street (South Wimbledon Station) to A217 Mitcham Road (Tooting Broadway Station)."

The Northern line is running a 'good service'.
