For the past week there has been increased talk around London being moved into tier three.
This is due to coronavirus rates rising across the capital - but particularly in the east of the city.
It is believed that the whole of the city will move together into Tier Three.
This move could happen as early as today although no final decision has firmly been made according to the BBC.
However the move now looks inevitable.
What does Tier Three mean?
• You cannot mix indoors, in private gardens or in most outdoor venues, except with your household or bubble
• You can meet in a group of up to six in other outdoor spaces, such as parks, beaches or countryside
• Shops, gyms and personal care services (such as hairdressing) can stay open
• Bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants must stay closed, except for delivery and takeaway
• Sports fans cannot attend events in stadiums
• Indoor entertainment venues - such as bowling alleys and cinemas - must stay closed
• People are advised not to travel to and from tier three areas
This will come as a bitter blow - particularly to the hospitality industry - which has had an incredibly hard time this year.
The Ramble Inn celebrated their 22nd birthday this past weekend - thanking the community for their continued support throughout the virus.
We will update you if and when our tier three status is officially confirmed.
