The organisers of Tooting Common Junior Park Run have said that the popular event could be making a comeback next month.

All park runs around the UK had to be halted due to the coronavirus on March 18 2020.

After over a year of no community events, the organisers of Tooting Common Junior Park Run have released some positivity.

A spokesperson said: "We are very excited to announce the proposed return of Tooting junior parkrun for 4-10 year olds on Sunday 11th April.

"There is some work to do but fingers crossed, we will see you back on the Common in 6 weeks."
