Tooting Bec Lido prepares for reopening next week

Tooting Bec Lido will re-open on 29th March to both members of South London Swimming Club and the public.

Volunteers have been scrubbing the pool walls in preparation for the opening date.

The Lido's filters and pipes have also been checked.

Every person looking to attend the Lido will need to book in advance.

A spokesperson for Places Leisure said: "You'll need to book in advance online as per last season.

"Please keep an eye on our website for more information. Thank you for your support."

Karen Wells, Centre Manager, said: "Our mission is to put our heart and soul into 'creating active places and healthy people' - it's about creating a place for everyone."
