28th Apr 2021 | Local News

The council has confirmed that waste and recycling collection will remain in operation over the upcoming bank holiday weekend.

Residents have been reminded to not leave their rubbish on the pavement, and instead leave it as close to the entrance of the property as possible.

A council spokesperson said: "Placing dustbins or waste sacks on the public pavement can result in a fine of up to £2,500."

All collections will continue as normal on every bank holiday this year, besides Christmas and New Year.

You can find out your usual day for collection on the council website.
