A pub in Tooting has described how it opened its doors for takeaway drinks to give a place for its regulars to socialise.
Throughout the pandemic people have been stuck inside without contact and this was especially difficult over the holiday period.
The Ramble Inn has had to constantly switch its business plan to fit the changing measures and restrictions, previously offering food for the first time ever to open with a 'substantial meal'.
The pub opened for takeaway late December.
Jimmy, landlord of Ramble Inn, told Nub News: "We didn't open for profit, we're not making anywhere near the amount we need to.
"We opened so people can get out of the house for a little bit and come to chat."

The pub went beyond just serving takeaway drinks too, Jimmy and his staff actively helped the people who came to his establishment.
"Some of our older regulars need helping out around their house sometimes," Jimmy told Nub News.
"We're more than just a pub and we want to be there in every way we can.
"If someone needs something which they can't do themselves we're more than happy to help."
