Part of the A24 in Tooting will continue to be disrupted over the weekend due to maintenance by Thames Water.

The A24 (starting near The King's Head pub) was slow moving with traffic this morning (16 April) due to temporary traffic lights and diverted traffic.

A spokesperson for Thames Water told Nub News:

"We've had to close part of the road as we carry out work to connect properties to the local water network.

"We're sorry for any disruption this may cause and expect to be finished by Sunday (18)."
