The terrapins have returned to Tooting Common pond as summer draws closer.

The little turtles are a resident favourite, often seen sunbathing on the rocks in the middle of the water.

Residents are treated to sightings of the terrapins every year when the weather begins to get warmer.

One resident said: "Those terrapins love the sun. They're always sunbathing. I wonder what factor sunscreen they wear."

Have you seen the terrapins yet?
