A popular Tooting pub has announced it will be offering free school lunches this week in solidarity with a number of different eateries around Tooting and the UK.
The Wheatsheaf, situated opposite Tooting Bec Station, is allowing parents to come and collect a portion of pasta, fruit, snack and a juice box for their child.
"No questions asked," the pub wrote in a statement.
The offer is running until Friday, 11am - 1pm.
Social campaigner and Premier League striker Marcus Rashford's campaign to provide food for hungry school children during the current half term break captured the hearts of the country.
The Manchester United and England striker star admitted he was 'blown away' by the outpouring of support from the country.
Sharing the efforts of businesses and individuals around the world on Twitter, Tooting Nub News' story on Meat and Shake was retweeted by Marcus to his three million followers.
