A photo of Tooting Bec Common from 1911 has been shared by the Streatham Society.

Mark Bery, from the Streatham Society, told Nub News: "Tooting Bec Common is in Streatham and Tooting Graveney Common is in Tooting, a fact many don't realise."

The Tooting Commons include two adjacent areas of common land lying between Balham, Streatham and Tooting, Tooting Bec Common and Tooting Graveney Common.

The two commons are recognised as being the part of 'Site of Metropolitan importance' for Greater London due to its array of rare wildlife habitats.
