Known gang member arrested after vehicle is stopped and searched in Tooting

A known gang member has been arrested in Tooting following a stop and search of their vehicle.

The vehicle was stopped for running a red light and attempting to drive off at speed down a side road.

A female driver was arrested for no insurance, drug driving and supplying cannabis.

A known gang member also in the vehicle was subsequently arrested.

Police found £940 worth of cannabis inside the car.
