Jailed Extinction Rebellion protestor writes letter about COP26 from cell in HMP Wandsworth

A prisoner at HMP Wandsworth wrote a letter from his cell in regards to the COP26 summit.

James Brown, a Paralympian and Extension Rebellion protestor, was jailed for glueing himself to a plane a few years ago, and was recently sentenced to a year in prison.

People have been protesting outside the prison on a regular basis.

Former Balham FC youngster is attracting interest from Real Madrid

A former Balham FC footballer is being linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Fabio Carvalho, who played for Balham as a youngster between 2012-2015, has been in good form for Fulham this season and has allegedly snubbed a contract extension.

His deal expires at the end of the season, meaning a host of clubs could potentially get him on the cheap - and the biggest of all time are reportedly wanting him.

Tooting could be getting a new cocktail bar open until 2am

A new cocktail bar could be opening in Tooting, open until 2am.

£5m renewal project announced by Wandsworth Council

Tooting could be benefitting from a number of improvements after Wandsworth Council announced a new £5m renewal project.

While specifics about where the improvements may take place haven't been revealed yet, a series of improvements to streets, green spaces and infrastructure are expected.
