Tooting residents are being urged to enjoy Halloween celebrations safely this year amidst the pandemic.
Tier 2 lockdown means households must not mix indoors, for example at Halloween parties, and no more than six people should mix outdoors.
Trick or treating is not banned in Tier 2 regulations, but the council have advised against participating this year.
Some members of the community have already devised a 'safe trick or treat' route on their roads - while some have opted for a 'Halloween Trail' instead.
So, how should we celebrate the spookiest day of the year?
Decorate, decorate, decorate!
Ghosts, ghouls and demons - and everything else spooky! There is no limit to how frightening you can make your house!
Mix in a fun day of arts and crafts and you've got yourself a creative and utterly scary Halloween!
Virtual Pumpkin Parade organised by Friends of Tooting Common!
Get carving throughout the day and send photos of your creations to [email protected] or tag on Twitter (@TootingCommon) and Instagram (@friends_of_tooting_common).
There are classes for the funniest, scariest and most artistic pumpkins!
Completely free entry, but any donations go directly to Wandsworth Foodbank!
Results will be announced at 10pm!
Why not dress up?!
Furzedown Frights, a site set up by Furzedown Halloween enthusiasts, suggested hosting costume zoom party!
Writing in their list of things to do, Furzedown Frights said:
"Okay, it's not the same as the real thing, but a virtual party with ridiculous costumes, cheesy music and Halloween cocktails or mocktails is still fun.
"Or take your costumes out into the real world! Stay safe and keep your distance, of course, but why not show off your creative genius (or bad puns) to spread some Halloween cheer!"
Check out the Furzedown Frights website for more Halloween tips and info!
