Free parking in Tooting for visiting family and friends on bank holiday Monday

9th Jul 2021 | Local News

Drivers in Tooting and across the borough will be able to enjoy free parking this bank holiday Monday.

You do not have to purchase a ticket for any of the borough's controlled parking zones.

Drivers can leave their cars free of charge for as long as they like in designated marked-out parking bays across Wandsworth on the bank holiday.

You will not need to purchase a pay and display ticket, pay-by-phone or display a parking permit if you use a marked-out bay.

However, you should avoid yellow lines as these restrictions will still be in force.

This is because yellow lines are normally situated at places where parked vehicles could cause a hazard or an obstruction.

Have a good bank holiday!
