Boy, 14, charged with a number of sexual assault offences

A boy aged 14 has been charged with a number of sexual offences and will attend court today.

Due to his age, the boy has not been named.

Local police have confirmed that he was charged with three counts of indecent exposure, four counts of sexual assault and an ABH assault.

The incidents took place in King George's Park and Wandsworth Common areas, all between September 29 and November 9.

He will be attending Wimbledon Magistrates Court today.

A spokesperson for Earlsfield Police said: "A 14-year-old boy has been charged with 3 counts of indecent exposure, 4 counts of sexual assault and an ABH assault. He can't be named and will attend Wimbledon Mags' Court today.

"The charges relate to offences in King George's Park and Wandsworth Common areas between 29 September and 9 November."
