Body of missing Tooting man found in the Thames near East Molesey

The body of a man from Tooting was found in the river Thames at East Molesey yesterday morning (September 15), following his disappearance over the weekend.

Dawid Krupa, 31, was last heard from while fishing on the river near Kingston and Hampton Court on Saturday September 11.

Police released an appeal to find Krupa on Tuesday September 14.

Dawid's family have been informed. The body has not yet been formally identified.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said today: "We previously issued an appeal to trace the whereabouts of Dawid Krupa, who was last seen in the Hampton Court area on Saturday, 11 September.

"On the morning of Wednesday, 15 September, the body of a man was found in the River Thames at East Molesey.

"Although formal identification has not taken place, Dawid's family has been informed."
