Tooting: Police appeal for two sisters missing from Wandsworth

UPDATE: both girls have been found.

Police have released images of two sisters who went missing last night.

Do you recognise either of the girls in the pictures? If so, Wandsworth Police would like to hear from you.

Maria (pictured first) is 13 years old and approximately 5ft tall. She has short black hair and was last seen wearing a long blue coat and black shoes with white soles.

Aisha, 15, is around 5ft 5 inches tall. She has short black hair, wears glasses and was last seen wearing a long purple coat, leggings and sandals.

The sisters went missing from Roehampton yesterday (Friday September 17) and are thought to have been travelling through central London on buses.

A Wandsworth Police spokesperson said: "Sisters Maria and Aisha have been missing from Roehampton since the evening of the 17th September.

"Maria is 13 years old and approximately 5ft tall.

"Aisha (pictured right) is 15 years old and approximately 5ft, 5 inches tall. She has short black hair, wears glasses and was last seen wearing a long purple coat, leggings and sandals.

"It is thought that they have been travelling through central London on buses.

"If you have any information which could help us find Maria and Aisha, please call 101.

"If you see them, call 999 at the time."

"We want to make sure that the sisters are okay."
