A free bat walk will be taking place on Tooting Common this evening.
It might surprise you that bats are often around us, it's just we can't hear them and they are very good at hiding away.
They are there, though. And this bat walk will be about seeing if you can find any, as well as hear about the different types of bats that you might find on Tooting Common.
The event will be starting at the Woodfield Pavilion at 6pm, ready to begin the walk at 6.15pm, before finishing at 8pm.
Dr Iain Boulton will be leading the walk - the Environmental Compliance Officer for Lambeth Parks and Open Spaces. There will be bat detectors to try out and Boulton will be ready to answer all your batty questions.
Janet Baker, the manager of the Woodfield Pavilion park and charity, told us about what to expect.
"You turn up, have a walk around the common with special bat detectors and occasionally you will see bats if you are out in certain lights," she said.
"Bats are actually about all of the time but you can't see or hear them.
"You can't hear them with your own ears - but the bat detectors pick up sound.
"People absolutely love them.
"Iain will talk you through it and how to work the machine.
"You'll also find out all about the bats such as what bugs they eat. It's really fun."
If this sounds like something you or the family would enjoy, get down to the Woodfield Pavilion for 6pm.
