A new interactive map has been released which shows the most 'Wikipedia'ed' person in every town of the UK.
Tooting's most Wikipedia'ed person is former professional footballer, Darren Bent.
Darren Bent was born in Tooting in 1984. He moved to Cambridgeshire at the age of ten where he began to play for the Godmanchester Rovers youth system.
Over Darren's exciting career, he's played professional football in nine clubs and even at senior international level for England.
He was scouted at a young age from Godmanchester Rovers by Ipswich Town and after progressing through their youth programme, made his first team debut in 2001.
The days that passed saw Darren make 122 appearances and score 48 goals for Ipswich, before Charlton Athletic swept him up with a whopping fee of £2.5 million in 2005. [.H3]
It proved to be money well spent for Charlton Athletic as Darren became their top goal scorer for two consecutive seasons.
This caught the eye of Tottenham Hotspur which led them to make a club-record bid of £16.5 million for Bent in 2007.
Darren spent two seasons at Tottenham before joining Sunderland for 18 months.
Aston Villa saw Darren's potential and brought him on the team, where he spent four years before being being let go in 2015.
Between 2014 and 2018 Darren was loaned to Fulham, Brighton and Hove Albion, Derby County and Burton Albion.
Bent announced his retirement from playing in July 2019.
