There's plenty on in Tooting weekend - here's our round-up of our favourite events.

FRIDAY: Buzz presents: Comedy Night

Kick your weekend off with a funny one by going to the comedy night at Buzz Bingo in Tooting.

Head on down early and kick off your night with a game of bingo. You'll have a chance of winning up to £50k - and if you show your comedy ticket you'll get £5 off.

While there is no confirmation on who the comedians are, the website says there are "hilariously funny guys and gals who regularly rub shoulders with the likes of Johnny Vegas, Peter Kay, Alan Carr, and some of them have even been on the telly".

SATURDAY: Banana Cabaret Comedy Night

There's a comedy theme this weekend - and this one may be more suited if you don't fancy a game of bingo first.

Banana Cabaret will be hosting an event on Saturday at The Bedford in Balham.

Dominic Holland, Tom Slade, Ben Norris and Kate Lucas will all be performing.

The club is committed to being a springboard for new and emerging talent and remains a favourite with established artists, popping in for weekend gigs, special event solo shows and performing at our annual Balham Comedy Festival.

Recent appearances include Eddie Izzard, Jack Whitehall, Lee Mack, Joe Lycett, Rachel Parris, Rich Hall, Jason Manford, Sara Pascoe, Tim Vine, Tom Allen and Russell Kane to name a few, so these guys know comedy.

SUNDAY: Tooting Common Junior Parkrun

The Tooting Common Junior Parkrun is on this Sunday from 9am - why not bring your child along to have a go?

The event is for people of all ages and running ability - you can even walk it if you need to.

There will be plenty there and is a great opportunity to meet new people.

The event takes place at Tooting Common, Doctor Johnson Avenue, Tooting, London, SW16 1RT.
